MNC's Two Minute Intervals is a short but intense session. It fits great into the rhythm of a training week if you have a longer zone 2 session the next day or if you have a zone 2 run at the end of the day. The bulk of the session are 6x 2 minutes at your higher VO2max with 4 minutes of easy zone 1 pedalling in between. This will prepare your body for longer VO2max sessions coming in the next weeks and it will help to raise your FTP. Series Concept The series runs for 16 weeks and lays a good foundation to extend your above-threshold- abilities to much longer durations come spring.  Note that this session perfectly fits into a reverse periodization training concept.
